It has been an exciting couple of days! We've signed 108 pages of closing documents, and said goodbye to ALL OF OUR MONEY!!!

Side note: We had to promise not to house any chemical waste on the property, and now I just want to know what the hell happened, that made these people have to create an official form for this.

Then today we completed the final walk through of our home. This is where you tour the house with the superintendent to point out any flaws that need to be fixed before we get the keys. We also talk about all the warranties, water shut offs, thermostat, etc.

Another side note: In case of an emergency we need to call 911 and not Quadrant Homes customer service. Again, what the hell is wrong with people?!

Surprisingly, Alex is the person to find all the mistakes and point them out. I'm just internally screaming that this is even happening, and so very grateful that I get this house at all.

And I have to say that this place is absolutely magnificent. I'm so happy with all the choices we picked from the design center. It all came together perfectly and seeing it in person just blows me away.

It's still not very real yet. I'm thinking it'll hit all of us next Friday when we finally get the keys. It will be nice to enjoy a few quiet moments of being in the house before the madness that is moving and selling the condo, begins.
